Coronavirus Situation

Coronavirus Situation

Dear patients, fellow dental colleagues and friends,

As some of you will have seen, the Government has announced that dental practices can begin to re-open, for face-to-face care, from Monday 8th June 2020. Unfortunately, dentists were not consulted or informed of this important date and we too were only notified via the scrolling ticker tape message during the daily Downing Street coronavirus briefing !

However, please be reassured that we are continuing to work hard, behind the scenes, to ensure that our practice is ready to re-open. Currently, we are still awaiting formal evidence-based guidance on the specific protocols and enhanced personal protective equipment (PPE) that will be required to deliver safe care for our patients whilst also protecting the safety of our team.

The re-opening of Morgan Dental Practice will certainly be a phased one and our appointments will initially be prioritised in terms of need.

However, the current situation is very fluid and is changing on a daily basis so we will keep you updated on any developments.

The safety of our patients and team is our absolute first priority. We can assure you that we are doing all that we can to overcome the challenges that we are currently facing in order to re-open Morgan Dental Practice safely.

Thank you for your on-going support, patience and understanding and we hope you have a lovely weekend.

Best wishes from the Team
